Tigers hold on to win at Minnesota, 10-6, despite late stumble
Rajai Davis and Torii Hunter each had three hits while Nick Castellanos homered and drove in three runs as the Detroit Tigers started an eight-game road trip with a 10-6 victory against the Minnesota Twins at Target Field.
Rick Porcello (3-1) earned the win despite posting his shortest start of the season. He cruised through the first five innings, allowing just one earned run, but he gave up a home run, a single, and a walk to the first three batters of the 6th innings before getting the hook.
The Tigers will play their second game of this weekend series against the Twins this Saturday afternoon at 2 pm.
