Jazz slips past Pistons at the Palace on Motor City night, 97-96

In the 10 years since Detroit's 2004 championship, the Utah Jazz have gone 17-3 against the Pistons, including a 97-96 victory at the Palace of Auburn Hills.

Greg Monroe had 19 points & 11 rebounds for Detroit while Andre Drummond finished the night with 11 points & 18 rebounds. The Pistons built a double-digit lead early in the 3rd quarter, thanks to 14 points from Brandon Jennings, but the Jazz cut into the deficit after he went to the bench.

Detroit will now begin a 4-game road trip, beginning this Monday night at 8 pm ET when they face the Chicago Bulls before heading to Washington.
