Titans go down in Ann Arbor; UDM & U-M women struggle
The Michigan Wolverines scored 11 straight points late in the 2nd half to hold off the Detroit Titans, 71-62. The Titans were led by Juwan Howard Jr., the son of the former Michigan star, who had 24 points and eight rebounds.
Detroit led Michigan at halftime and early in the 2nd half before the Wolverines pulled away for the win. Brandan Kearney scored 14 points and Paris Bass had 12 points for the UDM.
The Titans will return home to Calihan Hall to face South Alabama this Saturday afternoon at 3 pm while Michigan will head to the Barclays Center - home of the NBA's Brooklyn Nets - to play Oregon this Monday night at 9 pm ET.
