Titans struggle against the Vikings in Cleveland, 73-63
Senior co-captain Evan Bruinsma recorded his 4th double-double of the season, but it wasn't enough as the Detroit Titans lost its first Horizon League road game, 73-63, to the Cleveland State Vikings at the Wolstein Center.
Bruinsma led Detroit (8-9, 1-1) with 17 points & 10 rebounds while Anton Wilson also capped off the night with 17 points. Juwan Howard Jr. finished with 16 points.
Detroit will continue their Horizon League play when the Titans host Oakland this Saturday as part of Homecoming weekend. The game is set for 7 pm at Calihan Hall as part of a day-night doubleheader following the women's game against the Grizzlies at 2 pm.
