Lead slips away late as Red Wings fall to Bruins, 3-2
Zach Trotman's first career NHL goal came with 2:08 remaining to complete the Boston Bruins' comeback in a 3-2 victory over the Detroit Red Wings.
Luke Glendening and Stephen Weiss scored and goaltender Petr Mrazek made 22 saves for Detroit, who fell into a third-place tie with the Bruins in the Atlantic Division after their third straight loss.
Attempting to stay in the Atlantic bracket and stay out of the wild card spots, the Red Wings (93 points) will head to Minnesota to face the Wild this Saturday night at 7 pm.
