Royals' error leads to Tigers win at Comerica Park, 6-5
In the bottom of the 9th inning, after Ian Kinsler bunted down the third-base line, Royals relief pitcher Yohan Pino (0-1) fielded the ball and threw wildly to first base, allowing Anthony Gose to score the winning run as the Detroit Tigers pulled away with a 6-5 win over Kansas City.
Despite the win, much concern was for Detroit's starting pitcher David Price. After he allowed five runs and a career-high 13 hits, Price left the game in the 7th inning with a leg injury after stepping on a discarded bat, causing him to tweak his leg.
The Tigers will be back in action this Saturday afternoon inside Comerica Park against Kansas City at 1 pm.
