Cubs get even; Utley breaks Tajada's leg as LA defeats Mets, 5-2
Jorge Soler capped a five-run 2nd inning with a two-run homerun off Jaime Garcia as the Chicago Cubs held off the St. Louis Cardinals, 6-3, to even their NL Division Series at one. Game 3 will take place at Wrigley Field in Chicago this Monday evening at 6 pm.
Chase Utley's aggressive baserunning broke Mets shortstop Ruben Tejada's right leg in a takeout slide during a four-run rally in the 7th inning that helped the Los Angeles Dodgers defeat New York, 5-2, to tie their NL Division Series at one. The series now shifts to the east coast for Game 3 this Monday night at 8:30 pm.
