Astros take control of ALDS; Blue Jays deny Rangers of sweep
Dallas Keuchel remained undefeated at Minute Maid Park after pitching seven innings and Chris Carter hit a homerun to lead the Houston Astros to a 4-2 win over the Kansas City Royals to take a 2-1 lead in their American League Division Series. Houston will have a chance to wrap up the series in Game 4 this Monday afternoon at 1 pm.
Troy Tulowitzki drove in four runs, including a three-run homerun for his first hit this postseason, as the Toronto Blue Jays avoided a sweep in the AL Division Series with a 5-1 road win over the Texas Rangers in Game 3. Trailing 2-1 in the series, Toronto will look to stave off elimination again in Game 4 this Monday afternoon at 4 pm in Arlington, Texas.
