U-M women takes out Binghamton; Western men losses to DePaul
The Michigan Wolverine women used a 15-5 run early in the 3rd quarter to defeat the Binghamton Bearcats, 90-62, at Crisler Center in Ann Arbor. Michigan will hit the road this Sunday afternoon when they visit Calihan Hall to face the Detroit Titans. Game time is set for 2 pm.
Billy Garrett Jr. scored 18 points and Mike Henry added 16 points to help the DePaul Blue Demons come from behind to defeat the Western Michigan Broncos, 69-6, in the season opener for both teams. Tucker Haymond led Western with 24 points and Thomas Wilder finished the night with 16 points.
