Bonus play leaves Lions in disbelief vs. Packers, 27-23
On a rare Thursday night, outside of Thanksgiving, Richard Rodgers leaped & made the catch on the 61-yard bonus play to give the Green Bay Packers a stunning 27-23 victory over the Detroit Lions.
The Packers got one more shot to win after Detroit defensive end Devin Taylor was called for grabbing Aaron Rodgers' face mask on a tackle on what would have been the last play. Unfortunately for the Lions, penalties are not eligible to be under review, for replays clearly showed that Taylor never grabbed the facemask, but had his hand on Rodgers' shoulder instead.
As Detroit attempts to shake off this latest loss, they will travel to St. Louis next Sunday to take on the Rams at 1 pm.
