Prater & Slay save Lions in defeating Philadelphia, 24-23
Quarterback Matthew Stafford threw a touchdown on each of Detroit's first three possessions and threw a pass to Golden Tate to set up Matt Prater's 29-yard kick with 1:28 left to help the Lions snap a three-losing streak with a 24-23 win over the Philadelphia Eagles.
Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz attempted a long pass to Nelson Agholor on first down with time running out, but Darius Slay made an over-the-shoulder interception to end the game and help Detroit improve to 2-3.
The Lions will remain at Ford Field next week when they host the Los Angeles Rams at 1 pm.
