Lions celebrate Thanksgiving with 45-14 win over Philadelphia
Matthew Stafford tied a career high with five touchdown passes and three of them were to Calvin Johnson, who also tied a personal best, as the Detroit Lions dominated the Philadelphia Eagles, 45-14.
Stafford finished 27-of-38 for 337 yards & five touchdowns for the fourth time in his career while Johnson made eight catches for 93 yards & three touchdowns, matching his career high set in 2010. Detroit (4-7) have won three straight this season and three in a row in their annual Thanksgiving game.
The Lions will stay home at Ford Field next Thursday to host their division rival Green Bay Packers. Game time is set for 8:30 pm.
