The Detroit Red Wings ended a five-game losing streak on the road by defeating the Los Angeles Kings, 4-1, at the Staples Center.

Detroit's power play and a two-goal performance from Pavel Datsyuk helped the Red Wings win for the first time since heading out of the Motor City at the start of the week. They will finish up their road trip this Sunday night at Anaheim.
