This series between the Braves early on this season showed if the Tigers are ready to take a big step against a great pitching staff and sure enough they did. After scoring 25 runs in this series and beating Atlanta three straight including a 8-3 win at Comerica Park.
Doug Fister (4-0) pitched seven innings for win in rainy and misty conditions, Miguel Cabrera had a three run homer in a four run seventh inning. Austin Jackson hit a three shot in the third inning.
Tiger pitching staff struckout 39 Braves hitters allowing seven runs in the three games. Detroit plays Minnesota Monday at Comerica Park, Game Time 7:08 pm
