Royals catcher Salvador Perez tagged out Prince Fielder just before Fielder would have touched home plate on a two-out double in the 9th inning by Omar Infante as Kansas City came away with a shutout victory over the Detroit Tigers, 1-0.

Despite showers in the forecast, Detroit will attempt to close out the 3-game weekend series with a win when they play the Royals at Comerica Park this Sunday afternoon at 1 pm.
