Tigers break out of slump with 5-2 win over Milwaukee
Nick Castellanos hit a bases-loaded triple with two out in the 8th inning to lift the Detroit Tigers to a 5-2 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers.
Detroit's starting pitcher Shane Greene allowed two runs and three hits in 6 & 1/3 innings while striking out six. Relief pitcher Joakim Soria pitched the 9th inning for his 13th save in 13 chances.
The Tigers will spend the Memorial Day weekend at Comerica Park with a four-game series against the Houston Astros. The first game is set for this Thursday afternoon at 1 pm.
