Lions keep pace in NFC North with 34-17 win over Tampa Bay
Quarterback Matthew Stafford threw for 311 yards and three touchdowns as the Detroit Lions kept the pressure on in the NFC North division race with a 34-17 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. As of now, the Lions (9-4) trail first-place Green Bay by a half-game, with the Packers hosting Atlanta on Monday night.
Wide receiver Calvin Johnson made eight catches for 158 yards & a touchdown while running back Joique Bell rushed for 83 yards & a touchdown for Detroit.
The Lions have won two in a row by the same score and will they will host their regular season home finale at Ford Field next Sunday afternoon against Minnesota at 4:30 pm.
