Eastern basketball come away with victories; U-M falls to SMU
Behind a season-high 31 points by junior Cha Sweeney, the Eastern Michigan Eagles came back from a late 10-point deficit to defeat the Harvard Crimson, 85-81.
Sweeney shot 12-of-26 from the field and a perfect 6-of-6 from the free throw line on her way to reaching the 30-point mark for the first time this season. Junior Phillis Webb added 18 points for Eastern while falling one rebound short of a double-double and junior Janay Morton finished the night with 11 points to go along with six rebounds & four steals.
The Eagles will now head to New Jersey to take on Monmouth this Thursday night at 7 pm.
