Eastern tops Central; MSU (in OT) & Western lose by one point

The Eastern Michigan Eagles swept the season series of their MAC & in-state rival Central Michigan Chippewas, 71-56.
James Thompson IV recorded his 15th double-double of the season, finishing with 19 points while tying his career-high of 15 rebounds for EMU. Senior Brandon Nazione posted his own double-double as well, adding in 16 points & 11 rebounds.
Both teams will be home this weekend for their next MAC game as the Eagles host Kent State this Saturday at noon while the Chippewas prepare to face Ball State later in the day at 4:30 pm.
