Red Wings suffer 3rd-period collapse against Pittsburgh, 3-1
Phil Kessel scored twice, including one of Pittsburgh's four goals in the 3rd period, as the Penguins rallied to defeat the Detroit Red Wings, 5-3.
Henrik Zetterberg scored his 314th career goal, matching Pavel Datsyuk for 7th in team history, and Dylan Larkin & Frans Nielsen got the other goals for Detroit. Goaltender Jared Coreau stopped 32 shots in his NHL debut.
Looking to earn more points in the standings, the Red Wings will travel to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn to take on the New York Islanders this Sunday night at 6 pm.
